Recently, Li Bin, deputy secretary of the Panzhihua West District Party Committee, led a team to CWPC for research. The company’s chairman Li Renchao, party secretary and president Mao Jihong, and financial director Meng Haitao gave a warm reception.

President Mao accompanied Deputy Secretary Li Bin and his delegation to visit the company’s exhibition hall, production site and the China Western Comprehensive Bonded Zone project, a PPP investment, construction and operation by the company, to learn about the company’s production and operation. 

Subsequently, a symposium was held between government and enterprises. At the meeting, Chairman Li expressed his heartfelt welcome to Deputy Secretary Li Bin and his delegation on behalf of the company, and introduced the company’s environmental protection equipment manufacturing, new material development, environmental protection and new energy engineering general contracting, investment operations and production operations.

Deputy Secretary Li Bin expressed his affirmation of the company’s comprehensive strength. He pointed out that ‘Panzhihua West District has abundant coal resources with complete varieties and high quality. With the continuous upgrading and optimization of the national economic structure and the in-depth advancement of supply-side structural reform policies, the exit of backward production capacity had accelerated, and the supply and demand structure of domestic coal, steel and coking industries had improved significantly with good market investment prospects and new development opportunities. The West District government insisted on creating a good business environment for enterprise development and welcomed outstanding companies like China Western Power to come to the local area to carry out cooperation in multiple fields. To accelerate the comprehensive utilization of coal chemical industry-related resources in the West District, the application of magnesium-based copper-based new materials would be promoted. Industry contributed to strengthening the city.’ Through this on-site survey, the communication and docking between the two parties had been further deepened, and the confidence of both parties in future cooperation had been enhanced.
