Ahead of the 105th Anniversary of the Communist Party of China, to thoroughly study and implement the Party’s disciplinary requirements and strengthen all employees’ awareness of compliance and integrity in professional practice, the Company Party Committee launched a series of July-themed activities under the banner of "Party Building Leads Improved Work Styles, Compliance and Integrity Secure the Bottom Line". As a core component of the series, a special training on compliance and integrity was recently held, with Xiao Yutong, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, attending and delivering a speech. Adopting an online-offline hybrid format, the training drew nearly 100 participants including middle managers, key position staff and all Party members, consolidating their ideological commitment to integrity and voluntary compliance in business operations.

Opening Mobilization: Recognize the Situation, Uphold Red Lines; Enforce Strict Discipline, Rectify Work Conduct

At the opening ceremony, Deputy Party Secretary Xiao Yutong delivered the mobilization speech. He noted that the company is navigating a critical period, with compliance as an inviolable rigid regulation; every action of staff in key positions bears impact on corporate interests. He urged all participants to cherish this learning opportunity, study with a strong sense of accountability and reflect deeply to gain tangible insights from the training.

Expert Lecture: Sound the Alarm Through Real Cases and Clarify Red Lines via Legal and Disciplinary Interpretations

The training invited Zhong Jun, practical supervisor for postgraduates at the Criminal Investigation School of Southwest University of Political Science and Law, part-time professor at Sichuan Police College, director of the Criminal Law Research Society of Sichuan High People’s Court, and interrogation specialist with Sichuan Provincial Public Security Department, to deliver the lecture.

The on-site teaching session integrated real-life cases to conduct in-depth analysis of high-risk scenarios including duty-related crimes, commercial bribery and compliance loopholes. By interpreting disciplinary rules and laws through real cases, the lecture delivered a vivid and profound warning education to all participants. During the session, the attendees listened attentively and jotted down key points from time to time. Through thorough analysis of typical cases, they gained a deeper understanding of and greater reverence for disciplinary codes and regulations. These real cases served as stark wake-up calls, making all participants more clearly aware that integrity is not merely a basic professional norm, but an uncrossable red line.

Reinforce Accountability: Elevate Ideological Awareness and Form Closed-Loop Implementation of Training Outcomes

After the training session, Deputy Party Secretary Xiao Yutong delivered concluding remarks and put forward four clear requirements for all participants:

First, further raise ideological awareness. Internalize the theme "Party Building Cultivates Sound Work Ethics, Compliance and Integrity Shore Up the Bottom Line" and implement it through actions, so as to keep the awareness of compliance and integrity firmly rooted deep within our minds.

Second, conduct more in-depth self-examination. Review personal work item by item against the training content, identify shortcomings, clarify improvement directions and formulate rectification measures, ensuring thorough and genuine inspections and rectifications without blind spots.

Third, translate training outcomes into tangible practice. Incorporate typical problems analyzed in the training into institutional improvement, and build a closed-loop compliance management mechanism covering problem identification, rectification implementation and institutional solidification.

Fourth, enforce stricter disciplinary standards and work conduct. Any perfunctory attitudes, falsified notes and other improper behaviors during this training and subsequent activities will be publicly criticized without leniency.

He stressed that managers at all levels must earnestly fulfill their dual responsibilities for professional work and Party integrity. All Party members should fully play their vanguard and exemplary roles. Taking this series of themed activities as an opportunity, we shall foster rigorous work styles and build concerted momentum to overcome difficulties, thereby providing solid disciplinary safeguards and sound work conduct support for the company to tide over hardships.

The training featured substantial content and received an enthusiastic response. Participants stated that they would take the analyzed cases as warnings, internalize compliance and integrity awareness in their hearts and translate them into daily actions, uphold the red lines and take on responsibilities at their respective posts.

Taking this activity as a new starting point, the Company Party Committee will carry out a wide range of themed activities centering on three major modules: special study themed “Break Through Ideological Barriers, Keep the Oath for Survival”, special training on compliance and integrity, and discussion sessions themed “Unite Hearts and Efforts to Overcome Difficulties”. The Party Committee will integrate learning, self-inspection, rectification and practical work as a unified whole, continuously strengthen all staff’s awareness of compliance and consolidate the foundation of integrity across the company.
