Building a Solid Safety Barrier | CWPC Launches Full-Scale 2026 Work Safety Month Campaign
2026-06-04

To fully implement national work safety arrangements, uphold the safety-first development philosophy, further consolidate work safety responsibilities for all employees, identify and rectify latent safety hazards, and enhance emergency response capacity, CWPC has launched a wide range of activities themed Everyone Prioritizes Safety, Everyone Masters Emergency Response – Identify and Rectify Risks and Hidden Dangers in celebration of the 25th National Work Safety Month. A company-wide safety education drive is well underway, with all subsidiaries responding expeditiously and taking tangible measures to bolster safety safeguards.

Strengthen Accountability & Coordinated Deployment

CWPC issued a comprehensive work plan for June’s Work Safety Month, outlining clear activity objectives, core deliverables and role-based responsibilities. All business units convened mobilization meetings to thoroughly study General Secretary Xi Jinping’s key directives on work safety. CWPC has rolled out a comprehensive package of integrated safety education initiatives measures, including targeted safety training to raise risk awareness, emergency drills to sharpen on-site response skills, case-based warning sessions to curb complacency, hazard inspections to eliminate latent risks, and safety knowledge contests to foster continuous learning. These initiatives embed safety culture across production lines, project sites and individual posts, laying a solid foundation for the smooth delivery of all Work Safety Month initiatives.

Integrated Online & Offline Outreach Campaign

A comprehensive dual-channel publicity matrix has been established to maximize safety education coverage. Online channels including the corporate official website, WeChat official account, Douyin, short video platforms and internal OA system regularly publish accessible safety guidance and practical tips. Offline, LED screens, notice boards, banners, printed posters, internal publications and pre/post-shift briefings create an immersive safety-focused workplace atmosphere. Dedicated safety cultural zones have been constructed at all production and project locations, featuring hazard exposure panels, safety learning hubs and emergency response knowledge displays. Through tiered, wide-reaching publicity and education, safety mindsets are deeply ingrained in every employee, cementing the ideological foundation for consistent workplace safety.

On-Site Hazard Elimination Rooted in Production Operations

Throughout the Work Safety Month, CWPC keeps frontline production as its core focus and tightens safety oversight at every management level. All staff are reminded to uphold the inviolable red line of safety, foster self-protection awareness and discard careless, fluke mentalities. Key production workshops – including the Water Wall Tube Workshop, Heavy Pressure Vessel Workshop and Tube Coil Workshop – will conduct full-scope inspections covering production premises and all mechanical equipment to achieve complete, dynamic elimination of hidden hazards. Specialized training and simulated drills will boost employees’ capacity to spot risks and handle emergencies independently, ensuring every frontline operator understands safety protocols, standard operating procedures and emergency protocols. Safety culture will be further embedded within workshops and teams, transforming mandatory safety rules into inherent work habits, to guarantee on-time order delivery and sustained high product quality.

Strict Project Management to Hold the Safety Bottom Line

For flagship projects including the Qitaihe Northern Residential Area Cogeneration Project, Wuhan Southern Domestic Waste Incineration Plant Expansion Project, Xinjiang High-Carbon Waste Dust Comprehensive Utilization Project and CWPC Zhangye Power Plant, all on-site personnel signed safety commitment pledges to demonstrate collective resolve to uphold non-negotiable safety standards, aligning with this year’s Work Safety Month theme. Moving forward, each project will carry out exhaustive full-site hazard inspections and live emergency drills to test staff’s rapid response and incident disposal proficiency. Stringent process management and routine quality patrols will be enforced to secure steady, risk-free project advancement.
