Recently, the coal clean and efficient utilization project of Xinjiang Huineng Group undertaken by CWPC has achieved a major milestone. The hydrostatic test of the million-cubic-meter flue gas generation boiler was completed in a single run, marking a critical breakthrough in project construction.

Located in the Naomaohu Gobi near the China-Mongolia border, the project is plagued by frequent sandstorms, drastic diurnal temperature variations and limited available construction time amid harsh natural conditions. Rising to these adversities, the project team optimized resource allocation and construction scheduling to overcome construction obstacles. Within less than 180 days, the team finished high-standard installation and integral pressure testing of all heating surface facilities, covering water walls, separators, superheaters, economizers and steam-water pipelines. Superior construction quality and full-cycle premium service have won unanimous recognition from the owner and all participating partners.

The full hydrostatic test was implemented in strict compliance with specifications. The team rigorously standardized the full process of pressure rise, pressure holding and pressure drop, strictly controlling core parameters including pressurization speed, dwell time and hidden danger troubleshooting to verify the pressure resistance safety of all heating surface components. Witnessed and supervised jointly by the project owner, construction supervisor and statutory special equipment inspection institute, the boiler maintained a stable test pressure of 14.125 MPa with all test indicators complying with national and industrial specifications, which fully verified the reliable quality of equipment fabrication and installation.

The successful hydrostatic test lays a solid foundation for subsequent key works including boiler insulation, acid cleaning, furnace drying and pipe blowing.
